根据产权组织提前发布的年版全球创新指数（GII），全球五大科技集群目前全部位于东亚，东京-横滨荣登榜首，中国则是集群数量最多的国家。

Alloftheworld’sfivebiggestscienceandtechnology(ST)clustersarenowlocatedinEastAsia,withTokyo-YokohamaleadingtherankingandChinaemergingasthecountrywiththegreatestnumberofclusters,accordingtoanearlyreleasefromtheeditionofWIPO’sGlobalInnovationIndex(GII).

GII每年对世界各国和经济体的顶层创新能力进行排名。在年9月27日发布会前的预发布中，GII“科技集群”排名查明了全球科技活动最集中的地域。Eachyear,theGIIranksthetop-levelinnovativecapacityofcountriesandeconomiesaroundtheworld.Inapre-releaseaheadofaSeptember27,launch,theGlobalInnovationIndex(GII)“STCluster”rankingidentifieslocalconcentrationsofworld-leadingscienceandtechnologyactivity.

东京-横滨（日本）作为全球最大的科技集群荣登榜首，深圳-香港-广州（中国和中国香港）、首尔（大韩民国）次之，然后是中国的北京集群和上海-苏州集群。

Tokyo-Yokohama(Japan)leadsasthelargestglobalSTcluster,followedbyShenzhen-HongKong-Guangzhou(ChinaandHongKong,China),Seoul(RepublicofKorea),followedbyChina’sBeijingandShanghai-Suzhouclusters.

排名前五的集群全部位于东亚，第六名是美国的圣何塞-旧金山集群。

AllfivetopclustersareinEastAsia,withtheSanJose-SanFranciscoclusterintheUSatnumbersix.
